Our next ‘Last Friday’ event is taking place on Friday, 28th of August 2026 at 12:00pm UTC = 13:00 British Summer Time = 14:00 CEST:
Following last month’s hugely successful ‘Last Friday’ event (in which Dr Jean Gové introduced Pope Leo XIV’s ‘Magnifica Humanitas’), we are very pleased to be able to announce this month’s session (Friday, 28th of August 2026).
We will be joined by Professor Sonia Livingstone who will be introducing Digital Futures for Children’s new report: ‘Assessing the impact of using EdTech on children’s learning: A scoping review of meta-analyses.’
In this review, the authors conclude that “positive learning outcomes are not an inherent feature of EdTech; they depend on technologies being designed and implemented in developmentally, cognitively and pedagogically appropriate ways.” You can download the report here.
If you would like to attend our ‘Assessing the impact of using EdTech on children’s learning’ Last Friday event, please complete this form. We will then share the meeting link with you and will keep you updated about future events.
We very much look forward to seeing you on Friday, 28th of August 2026 at 12:00pm UTC = 13:00 British Summer Time = 14:00 CEST.
